About Movement for Life Exercise Physiology

At Movement For Life Exercise Physiology, we believe movement is one of the most powerful tools for improving health, maintaining independence, and enhancing quality of life.

Founded by Accredited Exercise Physiologist Jack de Boer, Movement For Life was built to provide personalised, evidence-based exercise support in the comfort of your own home, local gym, aged care facility, or community setting. As a fully mobile service, we make high-quality exercise physiology more accessible, convenient, and tailored to real life.

We specialise in working with older adults and individuals living with chronic health conditions, chronic pain, neurological conditions, and those recovering from surgery. Our focus is not just on exercise, but on helping you move with confidence, build strength, improve balance, reduce pain, and maintain your independence for the long term.

Every program is designed around your goals, your current ability, and your lifestyle. Whether that is improving mobility, preventing falls, returning to daily activities, or managing a long-term condition, our approach is practical, supportive, and backed by clinical evidence.

At Movement For Life, our mission is simple: to help you move better, feel stronger, and live well for life.

Services we provide

At Movement For Life Exercise Physiology, we provide mobile, evidence-based exercise services designed to help you improve strength, mobility, balance, function, and long-term health. We work with older adults, individuals living with chronic health conditions, neurological conditions, chronic pain, and those recovering from surgery. Our goal is to help you maintain independence, reduce falls risk, improve confidence with movement, and continue doing the things that matter most to you, all from the comfort of your home.

Aged Care

We work with common age-related conditions including osteoporosis, arthritis, frailty, sarcopenia, balance decline, and post-hospital deconditioning.

NDIS

Exercise physiology support for NDIS participants to improve physical function, increase independence, build strength and mobility, and work towards plan goals. We support a wide range of physical, neurological, and psychosocial conditions with individualised exercise programs designed around real-life function.

DVA

Exercise physiology services for veterans under DVA funding to assist with chronic pain management, injury rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, mobility limitations, and chronic disease management. Programs are tailored to improve physical capacity and support long-term health outcomes.

Medicare

Eligible clients may access exercise physiology services under a Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan (formerly EPC/CDM) through their GP. Bulk billing options may be available for eligible clients. These sessions are ideal for managing chronic conditions, improving mobility, reducing pain, and building strength through structured exercise intervention.

These passions reflect the same values he brings into his work: consistency, discipline, and a practical approach to achieving long term results.

Movement For Life Exercise Physiology was created to provide a more personalised and accessible mobile service, delivering high quality exercise support directly to clients in their home, gym, aged care facility, or community setting.
